Dramaturgi dan Gerak Tubuh

A Lecture Performance presented in both English and Malay by filmmaker/writer Ridhwan Saidi and visual anthropologist and interdisciplinary artist, Lim Paik Yin. Ridhwan will address “What is dramaturgy?” through theatrical pastry-making as a metaphor. Looking retrospectively at her performances with Ridhwan, Lim Paik Yin reflects on the impetus of her practice. Drawing from the archival materials from her films and performances, she posits what moves us in our everyday life.

This is part of the Beyond Moving with Artisans series of workshops organised by JinnD Productions taking place at The GodownKL from March to November 2024, that will culminate in a finale performance on November 9-10.
