Moka Mocha Ink diasaskan dan digerakkan oleh Ridhwan Saidi dan Nurul Aizam, sifar aspirasi korporat, fokus menerbitkan buku oleh penulis-penulis kontemporari setempat dengan nuansa pekat literatur.

Moka pot menjadi buah tangan Ridhwan sekembalinya dari Amerika Syarikat dan pengalaman ini ada tercatit di dalam buku terbitan pertama kami iaitu Amerika. Mocha pula yang berima dengan moka, memberi idea bahawa penerbitan kami ini dakwat hasil kombinasi: keseriusan kopi dan keseronokan koko, atau sebaliknya.

Rorschach Ink pula imprint zine-zine (dan malah photobook) dengan estetik fotokopi atau cetak rumah. Antara siri yang telah dikerjakan ialah litzin Kerja Tangan.

Selain bahan bercetak, kami juga turut giat meneroka kaedah dan medium lain seperti filem, muzik, arsitektur dan teater (Teater Modular dan Teater Normcore) yang sentiasa tidak asing dengan literatur.

Ensembel Teater Kaos Nol ialah kolektif terbuka yang ditubuhkan Ridhwan Saidi bagi kerja-kerja pembikinan teater dan seni, seperti perbincangan buku, pesta keramaian dan aktiviti-aktiviti berjemaah lain, yang berpangkalan di Kuala Lumpur.

Moka Mocha Ink was founded and is run domestically by Ridhwan Saidi and Nurul Aizam, with zero corporate aspiration, and focuses on publishing books by local contemporary writers with heavy literary nuances.

A moka pot was a souvenir Ridhwan had bought from his trip to the U.S., and his journey is written about in our first publication, Amerika. Mocha, which rhymes with moka, gives the idea that our publication is a combination of the seriousness of coffee and the fun of cocoa, or vice versa.

Rorschach Ink is an imprint for zines (and even photobooks) with the aesthetic of a copier machine or home printing. The series that is still running is the literary zine Kerja Tangan.

Besides print materials, we are also prolifically exploring different methods and mediums, such as theatre and performance-making, through the Teater Modular and Teater Normcore series.

Ensemble Teater Kaos Nol is an open collective established by Ridhwan Saidi for theatre-making, art, and theatre-related activism. We organize book readings, discussions, and art and theatre-related activities based in Kuala Lumpur.
